The Basic Needs Collective is a coordinated resource referral hub. We educate and connect students to campus and community resources to help them meet their basic needs.
Campus Police
U Police provide services 24/7/365, is commissioned by the state of Utah, and includes officers who are POST-certified. Within U Police, there are three divisions (Administration, Patrol and Investigations) that work to serve and protect members of the U community, including students, employees, visitors, and patients, as well as their property.

Math Center
The Mathematics Student Center has three locations - the main Math Center on President's Circle, the FASB satellite location, and online tutoring.
Mental Health First Aid Certification
Thanks to the generous grant from the Huntsman Mental Health Institute, the Center for Student Wellness provides Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training for interested students, staff, and faculty. Similar to a medical first aid training, MHFA is an international education program proven to be effective in teaching adults how to recognize and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges.
Pro Bono Initiative (PBI)
The Pro Bono Initiative (PBI) provides free brief legal advice to members of the Utah community.

Student Health Center
The Student Health Center at the University of Utah provides a range of healthcare services to support students' well-being. They offer primary care for illness and injuries, including routine check-ups and screenings. Additionally, they offer preventive care, vaccinations, and health education to promote overall wellness among the student population.
